Mary Katrantzou

I've been away for a couple of days as it's been my birthday, and have not been able to keep up with LFW - it's needless to say, my mobile phone is not fashion finding friendly. So I was excited to get home and soak up as much as I could... but one runway show just stopped me in my tracks - and now I can't get it out of my head! Mary Katrantzou's A/W 2011 collection is full of contradictions; the colours are vividly warm contrasted with lucid coolness, the silhouettes are strikingly hard, yet somehow femininely-soft.

Altogether Katrantzou's latest creations are fantastical, brilliant and beautiful, and, bizarrely, very wearable!

London Fashion Week

2011's first London Fashion Week, and how apt that it's also the week of my birthday... I was born fashion!

I've just finished watching the live stream of Temperley London - one of my all-time favourite fashion houses - and, after 6 years of Alice Temperley showcasing her beautiful creations at New York Fashion Week, they were definitely back in London in a big way. The Autumn/Winter collection was shown at the British Museum.

Nothing could have been dreamier, or more suited Temperley's magical collection of sophisticated lace prints and luxe colours...

PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR PICTURES!
