... Has arrived at last!!
Well, Vogue dropped on my doormat about a week ago now, but being me I wrote all my thoughts down on paper and never got around to blogging them, until now!
Finally, a whole issue of brand new collections, brand new adverts and brand new fashion feelings. Michael Kors' print advert completely sums up the Autumn atmosphere - orange hues, fallen leaves, men in chic black and women in cosy knit. Summer, pah! I'm so over you now. Maybe if I'd travelled (as last months Bazaar and Vogue so inspired me to do), then it might have been a different matter, but right now I'm looking forward to a family trip to Prague in September, and am definitely feeling that luxurious wrapped-up vibe right now. Time to start digging out my autumn wardrobe..!
Perhaps it's from having spent most of my life in the academic world (school, college, Uni...), or maybe it's because my body clock runs on fashion time, but whatever it is, this time of year always feels like new beginnings; time to make 'new year' resolutions. I feel inspired, enthusiastic and full of energy... which is a good thing, as it's almost time to get down to some hard work back at University!
